With an honours degree in language translation and interpreting (necessitating a strong command of written English), Julie initially joined a blue-chip organisation in a Marketing, Sales and PR function, before moving into the recruitment industry where she has been working with a range of organisations from SMEs to international organisations in both the public and private sectors. Having placed hundreds of managers and directors in both permanent and interim positions mainly within the finance sector, she became the organisation’s top consultant, and then progressed to become an independent head-hunter.

Julie personally writes or oversees all CVs written; nevertheless, Career Matters consultants / CV writers are experienced recruitment and HR professionals who know what employers look for. They have followed careers in industry and then progressed into recruitment and HR outsourcing services; providing CV writing, recruitment and outsourcing solutions for a variety of sectors and levels, from trainees through to directors. Although our clients come from all over the UK, and indeed worldwide, we are based in Fareham, Hampshire and have helped many local people in Portsmouth, Southampton, Basingstoke and other areas; often in person rather than via telephone/email.
